If you'd like to delete your MEHXIV account and associated personal data, here's how.
How to request deletion
From within the App:
- Open the App and go to Messages.
- Send a message to the office requesting account deletion, or send it in your assigned group chat if that's your usual point of contact.
- Include your full name and the office/username you log in with, so we can confirm your identity.
If you no longer have access to the App:
Email us at umar@mehxiv.comwith your full name and registered username/email, and state that you'd like your account and data deleted.
What happens next
- We will confirm your identity before processing any deletion request.
- Your request will be processed within 14 days of confirmation.
- Once processed, your account will be deactivated and your personal data deleted from our active systems, except where we are required to retain certain records by law (see below).
What gets deleted
- Your login credentials and profile information (name, email, phone)
- Location history, shift photos, and check-call records
- Chat messages and attachments
- Push notification tokens
What we may need to retain
Some records must be kept for a limited period due to legal, payroll, or regulatory obligations that apply to licensed security providers — for example:
- Right-to-work and DBS-related compliance records
- Payroll and timesheet records
- Records required by the SIA or other regulators
Where retention is required, this data is kept securely, is no longer accessible through the App, and is deleted once the applicable retention period ends.
