This notice explains how MEHXIV Security Services Ltd (company number 16803898) ("we", "us") uses personal information collected through www.mehxiv.com (the "website"). It does not cover the MEHXIV Security app for our guards and personnel, which has its own Privacy Policy.

2. What we collect and why
Quote and contact enquiries
If you use our quote or contact form we collect the details you enter: your name, company (optional), the service you are interested in, your email address, phone number and message. We use them to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a quote. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
Job and "Work With Us" applications
If you apply through the Work With Us form we collect your name, email address, phone number, SIA licence type and number, any message you add and, optionally, a CV you upload. We use them to consider your application. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request with a view to entering into a contract.
Live chat
The website includes a live chat assistant provided through a third-party chat service that uses Google Firebase. If you use it, the messages you send are processed by those services so that we can respond. Please do not include sensitive information in a chat message.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies in the cookie notice, we may use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used and how many enquiries it produces, for example page views, phone-number clicks and quote-form submissions. Analytics are not loaded unless you accept, and you can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Form submissions reach us by email through our email provider. The website is hosted by Vercel. If you accept analytics, Google receives the analytics data. The chat service providers described above process chat messages. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and application emails only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them. If you become a client or an employee, the relevant records are kept under the terms that apply to that relationship.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
- Cookie choice (essential):a single item in your browser's local storage records whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we do not ask again.
- Google Analytics (optional): cookies such as _ga, set only if you accept analytics.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw consent at any time. Email umar@mehxiv.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Changes
We will update this page and its "Last updated" date if our practices change.
